Ethel Luella Kames

	Ethel Luella Kames, 87, of DuQuoin, passed away at 3:10 p.m.  Sunday, August 12, 2001 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Mrs. Kames was a homemaker and a member of Faith Liberty Mission of DuQuoin.  She had lived in DuQuoin for 51 years.
	She was born June 17, 1914 at Sheller, the daughter of Clifford and Minnie (Caulder) Taylor.  She married Andrew P. Kames on June 14, 1930 at St. Louis, Mo. and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1976.
	 Surviving are one son, Dennie (Yovonnia) Kames of DuQuoin; four grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
	 He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.  
	Funeral services were Wednesday, August 15 at 11 a.m. at Maxton Funeral Chapel with Rev. Max Voyles officiating.
	Friends called after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
	Interment was in Tamaroa Cemetery.
